Our 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater is a short but extraordinary safari. During the safari, you will visit Tarangire National Park where you have great views of large herds of elephants, and Serengeti National Park where you will be able to witness the great wildebeest migration and spot different animals. Ngorongoro Crater is the most popular attraction in the park that harbours wildlife species including the Big Five animals.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa’s natural wonders. The crater is home to about 30,000 large resident mammals (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Keep your camera ready and be ready to see many animals within a short time!
The Serengeti National Park has accommodations located in five specific migration focused areas as noted below. The park also has various seasonal mobile accommodations located in distinct areas of the park that tracks the wildebeest migration movement. Day to Day Activities
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from Arusha and transferred to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours drive. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge, relax and have an early lunch. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in a 4WD pop-up safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide who is well-conversant with game tracks in the park. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast on the second day of your 4-day safari, you will carry your lunch box, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver-guide to transfer to Serengeti National Park. After the full-day game drive at 6.:00 pm, you will drive to the camp, check in for dinner, and have an overnight stay.
Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park
Program of the Day: After an early breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. After the morning game drive, you will drive back to the camp for lunch and then transfer out of the park. After lunch, you will continue with the game en route toward Ngorongoro Crater. You will check in at the lodge, have dinner, and have an overnight stay. (NB the lodge is outside the park).
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
You will enjoy an early breakfast meet your guide and depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route game drive while carrying picnic Lunch boxes.
The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 m deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. After a half-day game tour, you will ascend the crater and head back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel/airport.

Main access gate for the Western Corridor area; approximately a 1.5 hours drive from Mwanza and 145 kilometers from Seronera. Gate is open between 06h00 and 18h00 daily but please note that last entry is at 16h00.

Short answer: no. Public restroom facilities are few and far between within national parks. If the call of nature hits while you’re out on safari and you can’t hold it until you get back to camp, you’ll be paying a stop to the bush toilet.
