In this short but very exciting and unforgettable safari program, you will visit Serengeti National Park, the #1 ranked national park in the world. It is known for the huge herds of plain animals and it is the only park in Africa where vast land animal migration still takes place. You will also visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is the largest caldera made of grassland forest and swamps, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa’s natural wonders. The crater is home to about 30,000 large resident mammals (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Keep your camera ready and be ready to see many animals within a short time!
The Serengeti National Park has accommodations located in five specific migration focused areas as noted below. After pickup from your accommodation in Arusha, we will drive to Serengeti which is around 6-7 hours away from Arusha. On the way, enjoy scenic views of Tanzania, hop off the vehicle to view Ngorongoro Crater, and experience the Serengeti plains. Lunch will be offered on the vehicle during the safari. Late in the afternoon, you will arrive at your designated lodge to rest, dine, and cherish the greatest moments you gathered during the safari.
This will be the full game drive day. After an early breakfast in your lodge in Serengeti, you resume from where you left the previous day. During the day, our experienced safari guide will accompany you to do a game drive to watch and strive to find the Big Five animals in their natural habitat. Once you finish the game drive in the evening, you will transfer to Ngorongoro for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you’ll start your beautiful journey to the Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. You’ll descend the crater while watching the majestic view around you. During your time in the crater, you will say cheers with some champagne and a delightful lunch. Once you finish the game drive, you’ll transfer to Arusha, where the safari ends.
