Day to Day Activities

You will be picked up by our safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel in Karatu town for relaxation and overnight. If time allows, you can experience a city tour with our safari guide at no additional fee.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, where you will see wildlife. Enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the national park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp.

On the next day, we will have a full day inside the national park for game drives. Serengeti is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

After breakfast, you will depart to Ngorongoro reserve for game drives inside Ngorongoro Crater (lunch boxes are provided). Once we finish with the game drives, we will drive back to the lodge for relaxation and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa.

There are about 30,000 large mammals all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos) as well as a variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals within a short time.

After breakfast, relax at the lodge. If time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for some shopping. From here, we will transfer to Arusha Airport and fly to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar International Airport for the private transfer to your beach resort.

On days six to nine, you will relax on the beach. You can take your time to enjoy the beach of Zanzibar and relax at the resort. Discover Zanzibar’s best beaches with spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, and colourful coral reefs.

You will enjoy a few hours of leisure before your departure. Then we will pick you up on time from your resort and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport, where our tour ends. You can stop at Zanzibar Stone Town and buy some souvenirs on the way to Zanzibar Airport.

YES! Overall, it is entirely possible to have an epic safari on both a high and low budget. If you don’t mind foregoing certain frills and sticking to a larger, easier-to-reach national park, then the low end offers a unique opportunity for adventure that certain seasoned travelers prefer.

The most convenient option is to fly from Arusha to one of the park’s seven airstrips. It is also possible to book an overland safari in a 4×4 safari vehicle from Arusha to Serengeti National Park and visit one or two other parks along the way.

Short answer: no. Public restroom facilities are few and far between within national parks. If the call of nature hits while you’re out on safari and you can’t hold it until you get back to camp, you’ll be paying a stop to the bush toilet.

The North of the Serengeti is hugely popular due to the high-quality campsites and also because it is by far the best place to see the herds of the Great Migration. The North is also the chosen region for safari aficionados because it’s one of the finest regions for a walking safari as well as driving.
